Chinese artists perform in Vietnam
26 Feb 2010

A traditional martial art and calligraphy troupe from Guangxi, China, arrived in HCMC on February 25 for a cultural exchange programme as part of activities to mark 60 years of diplomacy between Vietnam and China.

During their stay until March 1, Chinese artists will give a performance and conduct an exchange with local calligraphers, and take part in a traditional martial art festival in Kien Giang Province.

Truong Ba Hap, Vice President of the HCMC Union of Friendship Organisations, says his organisation will continue to invite Chinese artists to take part in cultural exchange programmes to celebrate the Vietnam-China Friendship Year 2010.
